Legally Registered with Independent International Nonprofit Legal Status
In response to two major initiatives of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development-SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals)-WHIA was legally established in the State of Colorado, USA. The Association operates in strict compliance with the local Colorado Revised Statutes (C.R.S.) as an independent nonprofit public benefit legal entity, authorized to independently assume civil liability, conduct international affairs, and execute various legal documents. Its Global Headquarters is located in Denver, Colorado, USA. WHIA was co-founded by seasoned professionals from the global health industry. Its governing charter is drafted in strict accordance with tax-exempt organization provisions under the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, explicitly mandating that all assets be used exclusively for public benefit purposes and prohibiting any for-profit distribution- ensuring that all resources serve the development of the global health industry and international health governance.
UN – Accredited – Triple Authoritative Status
The United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) is one of the core UN bodies responsible for coordinating international cooperation in economic and social fields. Accreditation by ECOSOC signifies that an organization's purposes and operations have received official recognition from the United Nations. Currently, very few NGOs in the global health sector hold this status. WHIA has completed its registration in the ECOSOC NGO Official Archives, become a member of the UN Partner Portal, and obtained Registered Supplier status with the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM)- Vendor ID: 1218536. With this full set of official UN credentials, the Association is qualified to submit project collaboration proposals to UN specialized agencies such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), participate in UN health-related discussions and dialogues, and contribute to the advancement of the global health industry as part of civil society.
